Cheap to the locals is known as anything but "Cheap." This bar and restaurant has an eclectic mix of decor and food / drinks. Cheap has 3 rooms total, 3 bars, and 3 pool tables in the center room. Cheap once was two different restaurants, now you can find anything from sushi to pizza on the menu. The drink menu has a number of flavored mojitos to unique martinis and the sangria is popular with the ladies. Cheap gets crowded around 12am when the diners start to leave and south tampa's hottest singles come out to mingle. They offer bottles service, where it's no surprise to find tampa's top athletes enjoying a drink from time to time. The music is played by a live in house dj that video mixes on the over 20 screens through out the restaurant. There is never a cover, so cheap is a great place to watch a pay-per-view event. Another south tampa bar secret is to stop at cheap before heading to the Kennedy, on your way out of cheap stop at the hostess stand and ask for a wrist ban. The ban gets you a free drink, free cover, and front of the line privileges at the Kennedy. This bar is a great place to start your night, or meet your group, before heading onto another location.
